Bipolar Club

A Global Community

Bipolar Club started as a way to connect people living with bipolar disorder, offering a safe, supportive space where they could share their experiences, insights, and challenges without fear of judgment. It was built on the belief that people living with bipolar disorder deserve a community where they can be open and honest about their struggles, triumphs, and everything in between.

What is Bipolar Club?

It’s a platform for conversation and a network where individuals can lean on each other for encouragement, advice, and understanding, helping each other break free from the isolation often associated with the illness.

Bipolar Club is a global community that empowers people living with bipolar disorder, reminding them they’re not alone.

From Tweet to Movement

I started Bipolar Club on Twitter in 2019, using the handle @BipolarClubRX. My goal was simple: to spark conversations about mental health—specifically bipolar disorder—and reduce the stigma surrounding it, using the hashtag #bipolarclub.

The movement quickly took off, drawing in a diverse group of people navigating the complexities of bipolar disorder from all walks of life. Over time, it grew organically, passing into the hands of others who not only carried the torch but also expanded its reach, building a vibrant, supportive community along the way.

The Four Pillars

Bipolar Club is more than just a hashtag–it’s a community built by and for people with bipolar disorder. At the heart of this movement are four core pillars that guide the community:

Connection – Building a global community where individuals with bipolar disorder can find understanding and support.

Support – Creating a safe environment for sharing experiences, offering encouragement, and uplifting one another.

Awareness – combating stigma by promoting open, honest conversations about bipolar disorder and mental health.

Empowerment – Encouraging individuals to embrace their journey, seek help when necessary, and take control of their well-being.
